1. Overview
Bloomly (the "App") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App and how we use it.
Core Principle: Bloomly does not require a user account. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal information to our servers. All data stays on your device.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Automatically Collected Information (For Advertising)
If the App includes Google AdMob advertising, the following information may be automatically collected.

2.2 User-Generated Information (Local Storage Only)
The following information is not sent to any server and is stored only on your device.
- Bookmarks (verses you mark)
- Reading progress (last chapter/verse you read)
- Reader settings (font size, theme, font choice)
- Recent search history (up to 10 searches)
- Language preference (Korean / English)
These data remain entirely on your device. Deleting the App will delete all this data.
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
Bloomly never collects:
- User account information (email, name, phone number, etc.)
- Identity information or personally identifiable information (PII)
- Payment details (credit card numbers, detailed transaction history — handled directly by Apple/Google)
- Precise location (GPS coordinates)
- Camera, microphone, or audio access
- Contacts, calendar, or photo library access
3. Purposes of Information Use

Important: Payment information (card numbers, transaction details) is processed directly by Apple or Google, not by Bloomly servers.
4. Information Sharing & Third Parties
4.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

- Information Shared: Advertising ID, device information, approximate location, app usage logs
- Purpose: Serving personalized ads and measuring ad performance

- User Control: You can reset your Advertising ID or disable personalized ads in iOS/Android settings
4.2 Apple App Store / Google Play (Payment)
- Information Shared: Premium purchase history (amount, date)
- Purpose: Purchase verification and license management

4.3 Other Third Parties
Bloomly does not share personal information with any third party except:
- Court orders or legal requirement
- Investigation of App Terms violation
- Fraud prevention and security purposes
5. Data Retention Periods

Upon App Deletion: All local data (bookmarks, progress, searches, settings) is automatically deleted.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights.
6.1 Right to Access
You can request access to your data. Since Bloomly stores data locally on your device, you can view it directly in the App settings.
6.2 Right to Rectification
You can modify your data anytime (delete bookmarks, change settings, etc.).
6.3 Right to Erasure
You can clear all local data by uninstalling the App.
6.4 Right to Restrict Processing
If you don't want personalized advertising:
- iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Ads > Turn off Personalized Ads
- Android: Settings > Google > Manage your Google Account > Data & Privacy > Reset Advertising ID
6.5 Right to Object
You can object to ad tracking (see above: reset Advertising ID or disable personalized ads).
7. Security
7.1 Technical Safeguards
- Local Storage: All data (bookmarks, progress, settings) is stored only on your device's local storage (sqflite, SharedPreferences), protected by iOS/Android app sandbox.
- Transmission Encryption: Ad requests and payment verification use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
- No Central Server: Bloomly does not maintain user information on a central server, eliminating server breach risk.
7.2 Precautions
- If your device is lost or stolen, local stored data could be exposed. We recommend using a device PIN or biometric lock.
- If using a shared device, data remains on the device in local storage (no automatic sync to cloud).
8. Children & Minors
Bloomly is designed for all ages. If a child under 13 uses the App:
- Parental Consent: Parents/guardians of children under 13 must read and consent to this policy.
- Advertising Control: Parents can disable ad tracking via device settings.
- No PII Collection: Bloomly does not collect age, name, email, or other personal information. We comply with COPPA and similar child protection regulations.
9. International Data Transfer
Bloomly's data handling:
- Default: Local storage on user's device (no international transfer)
- Advertising (Google AdMob): Google may process data on servers worldwide. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
10. Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated anytime. We will notify you of major changes via app notice or update notes. Continued use of the App implies acceptance of the updated policy.
