1. Overview
FeedForge (the "App") is a speeds & feeds calculation aid for machinists. You enter material, tool diameter, number of flutes and similar values, and the App calculates conservative starting ranges for RPM, feed rate and chip load. The App requires no account and transmits no input values, calculation results, or saved jobs to any server. All data stays on your device.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Inputs and Calculation Results
The App does not use device sensors such as the camera or accelerometer. Material, tool diameter, flute count, engagement and similar values are entered manually by you on screen. These values and the resulting figures (RPM, feed rate, chip load, tap drill, bolt circle coordinates, power estimates) are used only to display the calculation and are saved to your device only if you choose to save the job.
2.2 Saved Job Records
Calculations you choose to save (job name, material, tool setup, result values, notes) are stored only on your device. CSV export happens only when you trigger it, via your device share features.
2.3 Purchases
Unlocking all materials, bolt circle calculation, power estimates, unlimited saved jobs and CSV export (one-time purchase, product ID cncfeeds_pro_lifetime) is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase via the store receipt.
2.4 Advertising
This App contains no advertising SDK. There is no advertising identifier collection, no ads shown, and no advertising-related consent flow.
3. Retention and Deletion
The App collects no personal data on any server. The data described in 2.2 is stored only on your device and is removed when you delete records in the App or uninstall the App.
4. Children
The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Safety Notice
Cutting values shown by the App are conservative starting ranges based on an open dataset (MIT licensed, CNC-ToolHub), not absolute values. Always verify against your actual tool, machine and material conditions before cutting. The App provides no warranty for calculation errors, tool breakage, material loss or machining accidents.
