DryWave Privacy Policy
DryWave Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
1. Overview
DryWave (the "App") is a utility that plays sound to help push water and dust out of your device speaker. The App requires no account and transmits no data to any server of ours. All features (tone generation and playback) run entirely on your device. The App requests no microphone, camera, location, or storage permission.
2. Information Collected
2.1 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. In that process, Google may collect advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA), device information (model, OS version), approximate location (IP-based), and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy for details. Users in the EEA/UK can choose personalized or non-personalized ads via the consent form (GDPR) on first launch; iOS users can decide via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.
2.2 Purchases
The one-time, permanent ad-removal purchase is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase through the store receipt.
3. Data Retention
The App collects and stores no personal data on any server. App settings (volume, purchase state) are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.
4. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Managing Permissions
The App requests no system permissions. You can change ad personalization via device settings (reset advertising ID, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App.
