PitLog Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 August 2026

Agreement

By using PitLog you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use PitLog on devices you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app.

Purchases

PitLog Pro is a single, one-time purchase — not a subscription. It unlocks the features described at the point of sale on the platform account used to buy it. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.

🔴 Maintenance information is guidance, not instruction

PitLog's default service intervals are conservative general estimates. Distance-based due dates are projections calculated from how far your vehicle has been driven in the past, and will not match reality exactly.

Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's maintenance schedule and a qualified mechanic's advice. PitLog is a record-keeping tool. It does not inspect your vehicle, cannot detect faults, and must not be relied upon to determine whether a vehicle is safe to drive. You are responsible for the maintenance and roadworthiness of your vehicle.

Your data

Your records are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your own backups; the app provides free unlimited CSV export for exactly this purpose. We cannot recover data from a lost, reset or damaged device.

Availability

PitLog works offline and does not depend on our servers to function. Reminders depend on your operating system's notification scheduling, which we do not control.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PitLog is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for vehicle damage, mechanical failure, missed maintenance, costs, injury or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above.
