1. Overview
TrayTime (the "App") is a personal tool for logging clear aligner wear time and tray progress. The App does not require an account and does not send your records to any server. All records stay on your device.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Your Logs
Wear/removal times, your tray plan (total trays, change interval, start date, brand name as free text), and goal settings are stored only in the on-device database and are never uploaded. Deleting the App deletes them.
2.2 Progress Photos
We request camera or photo library access only when you choose to add a progress photo (smile photo). Photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. The free version stores up to 5 photos; Pro unlocks unlimited storage.
2.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. In that process Google may collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), device information (model, OS version), approximate location (IP-based) and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy. Users in the EEA/UK can choose personalized-ads consent via the consent form (GDPR) on first launch; iOS users via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. No ads are shown after purchasing Pro.
2.4 Purchases
The one-time Pro purchase is processed by the Apple App Store. The App does not collect or store payment details; it only verifies the purchase via the store receipt.
2.5 Notifications
Notifications are local on-device notifications only — no server push. You can turn them off in Settings.
3. Retention & Deletion
We operate no server that collects personal data. All records and photos live on your device and can be erased anytime via in-app reset or by deleting the App.
4. Medical Notice
The App is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment, or orthodontic advice. Wear-time goals, tray progress, and estimated completion dates are reference estimates based on values you enter. The App has no affiliation with or endorsement from any specific clear aligner brand and is designed for general use with any clear aligner system. Always follow the guidance of your dentist or orthodontist for decisions about your treatment.
5. Age
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your Choices
You can change personalized-ads consent anytime via device settings (reset advertising identifier, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App. You can delete your records and photos directly in the App.
