Unpouched Privacy Policy
Unpouched Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
1. Overview
Unpouched (the "App") is a personal tool for logging nicotine pouch use and tapering progress. The App does not require an account and does not send your records to any server. All records stay on your device.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Your Logs
Pouch logs (time, strength in mg), taper plan and goal settings, and can-price settings are stored only in the on-device database and are never uploaded. Deleting the App deletes them.
2.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. In that process Google may collect the advertising identifier (IDFA), device information (model, OS version), approximate location (IP-based) and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy. Users in the EEA/UK can choose personalized-ads consent via the consent form (GDPR) on first launch; iOS users via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. No ads are shown after purchasing Pro.
2.3 Purchases
The one-time Pro purchase is processed by the Apple App Store. The App does not collect or store payment details; it only verifies the purchase via the store receipt.
2.4 Notifications
Notifications are local on-device notifications only — no server push. You can turn them off in Settings.
3. Retention & Deletion
We operate no server that collects personal data. All records live on your device and can be erased anytime via in-app reset or by deleting the App.
4. Health Notice
The App is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment or prescriptions. The withdrawal timeline and tips summarize commonly known information for reference only. Consult a healthcare professional about quitting nicotine. The App does not sell or promote nicotine products; it exists to help you stop using them.
5. Age
Because the App deals with a nicotine-related topic it is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your Choices
You can change personalized-ads consent anytime via device settings (reset advertising identifier, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App. You can delete your records directly in the App.
