Casaproof Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Casaproof (the "App") is a personal tool for cataloging your belongings with photos and barcodes and producing insurance-ready reports. The App requires no account, shows no ads, and sends no data to our servers. Everything is stored on your device — and, if you choose, in your own iCloud.

2. Information stored

2.1 Inventory data

Item names, photos, receipt photos, purchase prices, purchase dates, serial numbers, barcode values, room/category assignments, and notes are stored only in the on-device database and are never uploaded to our servers. Deleting the App deletes on-device data.

2.2 iCloud backup (Pro, optional)

If a Pro user enables iCloud backup, inventory data and photos are backed up to the user's own iCloud storage. This data lives in Apple's iCloud infrastructure; we cannot access it. You can stop iCloud backup at any time in device settings or in the App.

2.3 Camera and photo library

The camera is used only for item photos and barcode scanning; photo library access is used only to attach photos. Images stay on your device (and your iCloud if enabled).

2.4 Payments

Casaproof Pro (a one-time purchase) is processed by the Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies purchase status via the store receipt.

2.5 No ads, no tracking

The App contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no tracking technologies.

3. Retention and deletion

We collect and retain no personal information on our servers. All data is stored on your device (and optionally your iCloud) and can be deleted at any time in the App or by deleting the App.

4. Reports you export

PDF/CSV reports generated by the App are files you keep and share yourself. What you share, and with whom (e.g. your insurer), is entirely your decision.

5. Children's privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Your rights

You can view, edit, and delete records and photos directly in the App. iCloud backup data is managed through your own Apple account tools.
