1. Acceptance
These terms govern your use of the Casaproof app (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms.
2. The service
The App provides personal belongings cataloging (photos, barcodes, purchase details), room/category organization, value totals, PDF/CSV report generation, and iCloud backup/restore (Pro). Data is stored on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud.
3. Purchases and refunds
Casaproof Pro is a one-time (non-consumable) purchase that unlocks unlimited items, PDF/CSV export, and iCloud backup/restore. Payments and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store under Apple's policies; refund requests go through Apple. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for backing up your data (by enabling iCloud backup or keeping your own copies) against device loss, resets, or App deletion. On the free tier, iCloud backup is not available and data is stored on the device only.
5. Disclaimer
Reports generated by the App organize information you entered; they do not guarantee any outcome such as insurance claim approval. Evidence requirements for claims vary by insurer and policy — verifying them is your responsibility. The App is provided "as is".
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the App.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; updated terms take effect when posted on this page.
