Dutymate Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Dutymate (the "App") is a personal tool that estimates Korean import taxes (customs duty, VAT and related taxes) before you buy from overseas stores. The App requires no account, shows no ads, and sends no personal data to our servers. Everything is stored on your device.

2. Information stored

2.1 Calculation data

Selected items, entered amounts, shipping origin, favorites, cart entries, calculation history and exchange-rate history are stored only in the on-device database and are never uploaded to our servers. Deleting the App deletes this data.

2.2 Exchange-rate refresh (optional)

When you tap "Update rates", the App requests current rates from a public exchange-rate service (frankfurter.dev). The request contains no personally identifying information — only currency codes. You can also use manually entered rates without any network access.

2.3 Purchases

Dutymate Pro (a one-time purchase) is processed by the Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only checks the store receipt to confirm the purchase.

2.4 No ads, no tracking

The App contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs and no tracking technology.

3. Retention and deletion

We collect nothing on our servers. All data lives on your device and can be erased at any time in Settings > Reset all data, or by deleting the App.

4. Children

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Your rights

You can view, edit and delete your records directly in the App.
