Haru Cam Privacy Policy
Haru Cam Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 18, 2026
1. Overview
Haru Cam (the "App") applies Japanese-mood film filters to your photos. The App requires no account and never transmits your photos to any server. Capturing, importing and filtering all happen entirely on your device.
2. Camera & Photo Access
2.1 Camera
The App accesses the camera when you take a photo in the App. Captured photos are processed only on your device and are never uploaded.
2.2 Photo Library
The App accesses your photo library when you import a photo or save a filtered result. It does not read or transmit your photos for any purpose other than importing and saving. All filtering runs on your device's GPU.
3. Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
The ad-supported version shows Google AdMob ads. In that process Google may collect advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA), device information (model, OS version), coarse location (IP-based) and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy. EEA/UK users can choose personalized ads via the GDPR consent form at first launch; iOS users via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
4. Payments
The one-time "Haru Cam Pro" purchase (unlock all filters + remove ads) is processed by Apple App Store / Google Play. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase receipt.
5. Retention & Deletion
We keep no personal data on our servers. Photos and filtered results are handled only in the device's working storage unless you choose to save them, and are removed when you uninstall the App.
6. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your Rights
You can change personalized-ads consent anytime via device settings (ad ID reset, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App. Camera and photo permissions can be revoked in device settings.
