HoldOn Privacy Policy
HoldOn Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Overview
HoldOn (the "App") is a personal tool that provides a breathing and grounding relief flow for panic attack moments, plus practice lessons for everyday use. The App requires no account and never transmits your records to any server. All records are stored only on your device.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Usage Records
Panic button usage history, breathing/grounding completion status, and journal or lesson progress are stored only in the on-device database and are never uploaded. They are deleted together with the App.
2.2 Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
The free version shows Google AdMob ads. In that process Google may collect advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA), device information (model, OS version), coarse location (IP-based) and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy. EEA/UK users can choose personalized ads via the GDPR (UMP) consent form at first launch; iOS users via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. No ads are shown during the emergency panic flow screens.
2.3 Payments
The one-time Premium purchase (unlocks lessons, removes ads) is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase receipt.
3. Retention & Deletion
We keep no personal data on our servers. All records live on your device and can be deleted anytime by resetting in the App or uninstalling it.
4. Health Disclaimer
The App is not a medical device and provides no diagnosis, treatment or prescriptions. The breathing, grounding and lesson content is a reference tool meant to help you understand and manage anxiety, and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. If you are in crisis, please contact a crisis hotline or emergency services listed in the App immediately.
5. Children
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Your Rights
You can change personalized-ads consent anytime via device settings (ad ID reset, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App. Records can be deleted directly in the App.
