1. Overview

NoiseProof (the "App") measures ambient noise (decibels) and records it under conditions you set. The App does not require an account and never uploads your readings or recordings to any server. All measurement, recording, and report generation happen entirely on your device.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Microphone and recordings

The App uses microphone input to measure noise. Recording occurs only when noise crosses a threshold you set, or when you start it manually or on a schedule. Recordings are saved only to your device's internal storage and are never uploaded. You can play, share, or delete recordings within the App.

2.2 Advertising data (Google AdMob)

The free version shows Google AdMob ads. Google may collect advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA), device information (model, OS version), approximate location (IP-based), and ad interaction data. See the Google Privacy Policy. Users in the EEA/UK can choose via the consent form (GDPR) shown at first launch; iOS users can choose via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

2.3 Payments

The one-time, permanent ad-removal purchase is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase via the store receipt.

3. Data Retention

The App itself collects and stores no personal data on any server. Recordings and measurement logs are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete them in the App or uninstall the App.

4. Children

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

5. Your Choices

You can revoke microphone permission at any time in device settings (measurement and recording will then not function). You can change personalized-ads consent via device settings (reset advertising ID, ATT settings) or by reinstalling the App.
