MAYDAY Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of playmayday.com ("MAYDAY", "we", "us"), a multiplayer web game operated by Hedvion. By using MAYDAY you agree to these Terms.

1. What MAYDAY is

MAYDAY is a free-to-play multiplayer aerial rescue game accessible via web browser. Players fly aircraft through an open world, run out of fuel, declare distress, and rescue each other. The core game is free. Optional paid items (aircraft, liveries) are available through in-game purchase.

2. Accounts

Creating an account requires an email address. We authenticate you with a one-time code sent to that address; we do not store a password. You may link up to three devices to a single account (device activation limit). Your callsign is permanent once chosen — choose carefully. We reserve the right to remove or change callsigns that are offensive, impersonating, or otherwise inappropriate.

3. Paid items and payments

Certain aircraft and cosmetic liveries are available for purchase. All payments are processed by Polar Software Inc., who acts as the merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service and refund policy. Receipts and refund requests should be directed to Polar. In-game unlocks are applied upon order confirmation by Polar.

4. Virtual goods

Purchased items (aircraft, liveries, stamps) are virtual goods that exist only within MAYDAY. They have no monetary value and may not be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any real-world equivalent.

5. Rescues and gameplay stats

Your rescue count (★) is your primary progression metric. Rescue events are adjudicated by the MAYDAY server. We do not guarantee the accuracy, continuity, or persistence of gameplay statistics.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use automated scripts, interfere with other players' experience, or use abusive language in radio broadcasts. Violations may result in suspension or permanent ban without refund.

7. Service changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue MAYDAY at any time. When reasonably possible, we will give advance notice of significant changes or closures. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service changes or termination.

8. Disclaimer

MAYDAY is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hedvion is not liable for any damages arising from use of the game.
