1. Overview

Pulsora (the "App") estimates your heart rate and heart-rate variability (HRV) by sensing the pulse in your fingertip with the device camera and flash. The App requires no account, shows no ads, and transmits no data — including camera frames — to any server. All processing runs entirely on your device.

2. Information We Process

2.1 Camera (Pulse Sensing)

While you take a reading, the rear camera and flash sense light passing through your fingertip. Frames are reduced on-device, in real time, to a brightness signal used to estimate pulse and HRV. Camera images are never stored and never leave your device. The camera is active only during a reading.

2.2 Readings (Local Storage)

Reading results (BPM, HRV metrics, signal quality, optional tags) are stored only in local storage on your device. You control how long readings are kept (Off / 24 hours / Forever) in Settings, and can delete individual readings or all data at any time. No readings are transmitted to a server regardless of your setting.

2.3 Purchases

Unlocking advanced features (one-time purchase, product ID com.hedvion.pulsora.pro_lifetime, $9.99) is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. The App never collects or stores payment details; it only verifies the purchase via the store receipt. This is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.

3. Estimation Notice

Heart rate, HRV, stress and readiness values provided by the App are estimates derived from camera-based pulse sensing and are not medical measurements. The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, including heart rhythm disorders.

4. Retention and Deletion

The App collects no personal data on any server. Local data is completely removed when you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
