1. The Service
Pulsora (the "App") estimates heart rate and HRV from camera-based pulse sensing and provides history and trend statistics. Basic features (taking readings, instant BPM results, last 7 days of history) are free; advanced features (HRV metrics, stress & readiness, unlimited history and trends, tags) are unlocked by a one-time purchase (com.hedvion.pulsora.pro_lifetime, $9.99). There is no subscription and no recurring billing.
2. Disclaimer for Readings (Important)
Heart rate, HRV, stress, and readiness values provided by the App are estimates for wellness and informational purposes only. The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, including arrhythmia or other heart conditions. Reading accuracy depends on lighting, finger placement, and steadiness. If you have health concerns about your heart, consult a medical professional — do not rely on the App.
Flash warmth notice: During a reading the camera flash can become warm, and heat sensitivity varies from person to person. Keep your fingertip on the camera lenses rather than pressing the flash itself, lift your finger and stop the reading immediately if it feels uncomfortable, and allow the flash to cool between consecutive readings. You use the reading feature at your own discretion.
3. Purchases and Refunds
Payments are processed by Google Play / Apple App Store, and refunds follow each store's refund policy. After changing or resetting your device, use the store's "Restore Purchases" to restore your purchase free of charge.
4. Intellectual Property
The App and its components (design, icons, code) are the copyrighted property of hedvion.
5. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be revised as needed. Material changes will be announced via the App or its store listing.
