This Operating Policy sets out the principles for running TankLog (the "App") safely and reliably. Detailed rights and obligations are governed by the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose of the App

TankLog is a hobbyist aquarium water-quality tracking tool. Parameter status indicators and recommended ranges are general reference points based on common aquarium-keeping guidelines, not scientific or veterinary advice. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified sources for critical decisions about your aquarium.

2. No Ads, No Accounts

TankLog displays no advertising and requires no account to use any feature. The only paid element is an optional one-time Pro unlock processed by the App Store or Google Play.

3. Data Ownership

All data you create in the App belongs to you and stays on your device. We strongly recommend using the App's built-in backup/export feature periodically, since we cannot recover data lost due to device loss, app deletion, or OS-level data clearing.
