TankLog (the "App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how.

1. Information We Collect

TankLog does not require registration and does not collect or transmit your personal data to us. All content you create — tanks, water test readings, water changes, reminders, notes, and photos — is stored locally on your device only.

• No account, email, or personal identifier is collected by the App.
• No tank data, readings, or photos ever leave your device unless you explicitly export or back them up yourself.
• The App does not use analytics or advertising SDKs and displays no ads.

2. In-App Purchases

Purchases (the optional Pro unlock) are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your payment details; please refer to Apple's or Google's own privacy policy for how they handle payment information.

3. Local Backup & Export

The App lets you export your data as a CSV file or a JSON backup, and share or save it using your device's native share sheet. Where that exported file goes afterward (e.g. Files app, email, cloud storage you choose) is entirely under your control and outside our access.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data lives on your device, deleting the App or its data (or a specific tank, within the App) permanently removes it. We hold no copy of your data.

5. Children

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 14, as it does not collect personal information from anyone.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our end. Questions can be directed to [email protected].

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as laws or the App change; updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
